True Colors Counseling, PLLC

Where your true colors shine!

About image
Thank you for choosing True Colors Counseling for your outpatient Substance Misuse and Mental Health needs. My name is Heather Smith, owner of True Colors. I am passionate about supporting individuals on their personal journey towards finding their place in a world that we can get so easily lost in. I help you reconnect to your true self and build empowerment from within. I have experience working professionally at different levels of care, in settings from home-based to inpatient, drug court and impaired driving programs for over 14 years with individuals (ages 12+) whose substance use and/or mental health has become unmanageable. After giving birth to my firstborn in May 2022, I have added perinatal mental health for both the birth parents and caregivers to my list of treating conditions.

I use a variety of approaches when it comes to individual and group therapy. I utilize expressive arts (music, art, dance, etc) and body/mind therapy techniques, Dialectical Behavior Therapy skill building, Person-Centered Therapy, and Reality Therapy.

I also am able to provide supervision for licensure for candidates seeking their LCMHC, M/LADC, or CRSW.

Please reach out if you would like to schedule a FREE new client consultation, a court-ordered LADC evaluation, or other service inquiry. I look forward to working with you in a judgment-free zone where your true colors can shine.

M/LADC Evaluation

I conduct alcohol and other drug evaluations, most commonly known as "LADC Evals" for legal matters. This evaluation is not covered by insurance and payment is required prior to scheduling. Please contact me for more information.

Consultation or Supervision

I am able to provide supervision for licensure (LCMHC, M/LADC) or certification (CRSW) by both the NH Mental Health Board and the NH Board of Alcohol and other Drug Professionals. I am available for consultation or training services. Please contact me for more information.
